In order to diversify fish production, Durante Fish Industries Ltd (Nigeria) has partnered with Til-Aqua Int. (Holland) to promote the production of Tilapia in West Africa.

With an Exclusive license from Fishgen Ltd (UK) Durante - Til-Aqua produce high quality All Male Tilapia fingerlings for farmers in Nigeria, Ghana, Togo and Benin.

Male Tilapia grow up to 50% faster than females

All male populations are unable to reproduce and so grow fast and uniformly

Our fingerlings have not been treated with hormones

Tilapia efficiently utilizes vegetable proteins and so are less reliant on fishmeal than Catfish

Tilapia farming can be achieved with far less money than is required for catfish farming, making it accessible to far more farmers

This fish, named the Aquatic Chicken, has the biggest potential to create a substitute for the cheap imports of frozen fish

In co-operation with our strategic partners, Durante Fish is the largest fish hatchery of Nigeria. We supply fingerlings of Catfish and All- Male Tilapia directly to fish farmers. Our farms in Ibadan and Oyo produce Catfish and Tilapia for the market. Supplying high quality feeds and fish farming equipment, Durante Fish provides consultancy services in grow out system design, operation and management. A full technical back up service is offered to   our customers.
